My journey with clay began as a personal refuge—a quiet escape from the crushing weight of student loans and the endless, meaningless 9-to-5 corporate loop. The earth, the wheel, and the slow pace of nature healed me when I felt entirely lost.
But as my hands grew steadier, I looked around the pottery classroom and realized I wasn't alone in this search for meaning. That’s when ROOT24STUDIO truly began. It wasn't just my story anymore. I invited my pottery teacher and my fellow classmates—kindred spirits who found the same solace in mud and fire—to co-found this studio together.
We evolved from isolated individuals seeking an escape into a collective mission: to keep learning together, to heal other burnt-out professionals, and to gently advocate for a lifestyle of self-care, coziness, and slow living.
